Automatic PII Cleansing

PII stands for Personally Identifiable Information, i.e. any data that could identify a shopper. This optional functionality allows for shopper PII to be cleansed after a set period.

💭 How it’s used.

Merchants can add a layer of security for their shoppers, which depending on location, may be a legal requirement.

⚙️ How it works.

Shopper PII will be automatically cleared or anonymized after a set period. After this time, historical performance and transaction data are retained but are no longer linked to a specifically identifiable shopper.

This period can be configured, i.e. 60 days.
