# Chats are often accepted by someone else?

Chats are served to multiple team members at the same time to give the customer the best opportunity to connect with an expert. Sometimes, a chat will be accepted by another team member before you have the chance to claim it. If that happens, tap ‘done’ and you’ll be taken back to your home screen. Ensure you have notifications turned on and your volume is up so you can hear any incoming chats.
